چکیده
I demonstrate that analogies, both explicit and implicit, between Wittgenstein’s discussions of rituals, aesthetics, aspect-perception have important payoffs in terms understanding his notion a ‘surveyable representation’ (übersichtliche Darstellung) as it applies to phenomena are not exclusively grammatical nature. In particular, argue surveyable representation various anthropological aesthetic facts allows us see, qua form aspect-perception, internal relations formal connections, so the inner nature ritual or solution an puzzle is exhibited. This particular seeing explains why Wittgenstein thought hypothetical explanations about origins irrelevant appreciating its meaning elucidates which involves ‘internal relations’ ‘formal connections’. The upshots account for work anthropology discussed.

The present paper is critique of the article “Popular Shi’i Mourning Rituals” (Article 44) from Shi’ism collection written by Dr. Chlkowski. Although his viewpoint upon Shi’i mourning rituals is written impartially, like the viewpoint of a lot of orientalists it has some deficiencies. With a descriptive statement, he explains the mourning rituals in different Shiite regions around the world. Hi...

As usual an irreducible subquotient of this representation is said to be a constituent of it. For almost all v, Ind σv has exactly one constituent π◦ v containing t...

متن کاملEdward Said and Michel Foucault: Representation of the Notion of Discourse in Colonial Discourse Theory
Edward Said is regarded as the originator of colonial discourse theory. He deploys Michel Foucault’s notion of discourse to accomplish his project in Orientalism and emphasizes Foucault’s notion of discourse and its relation to power, rendering discourse a carceral system. Although Said explicitly expresses the similarity between Orientalism and Foucault’s discourse theory, it seems he...
